This lack of voter participation is not unique to Texas, as primary turnout is generally lower than general and midterm elections. In fact, only 21.3% of eligible voters participated in the 2022 primaries nationwide. 😮 In Dallas, voter turnout was similarly low, with only 16.2% of registered voters participating.
